2005 Transportation Sales & Marketing Association
Conference Focuses on Sales and Marketing Collaboration
Peachtree City, GA - December 22, 2004 - Transportation professionals will learn how to better capitalize on relationships between sales and marketing teams during the 2005 Transportation Sales & Marketing Association (TSMA) Annual Conference.
The conference, “Right Hand, Left Hand: Achieving the Best Sales & Marketing Relationship,” will take place April 10-13, 2005 at the Omni ChampionsGate Resort in Orlando. “Misunderstood roles lead to personal and company underperformance. TSMA’s Annual Conference will explore the role of sales and marketing in key, overlapping areas. By understanding how each contributes to the relationship, you will be better prepared to maximize your performance and your company’s results,” said Candi Cybator, TSMA Annual Conference chair and manager, marketing/public relations, Pitt Ohio Express.
In addition to the core concept of gaining a better understanding of sales and marketing roles, sessions focus on Return on Investment (ROI), Customer Value Analysis (CVA) tools and audience-focused marketing. Attendees will gain practical solutions for getting buy-in, learn techniques for successfully introducing change and developing consensus on their action plans, and explore the tools available to develop and maintain a competitive advantage. An industry update session on emerging trends and changing market conditions will provide attendees with the latest picture of opportunities for the North American trucking industry.
In addition, entries in the annual Communication Awards Competition will be displayed at the TSMA Annual Conference. The competition is an excellent opportunity for companies to showcase their advertising and marketing talents and to gain ideas for their next promotional program.
TSMA provides the educational forums, training and tools that transportation sales and marketing professionals need to stay current on industry issues, advance their careers and strengthen their organizations.
