Bid$ense

This Web-based bid package solution facilitates and manages a collaborative bid process between shippers and carriers who use the CzarLite base rate. When a request for proposal (RFP) is distributed using Bid$ense, each carrier involved in the bid receives the same, complete description of the shipper’s needs so that they can respond with their best, most accurate offer. In turn, the shipper (or the logistics provider conducting the bid on their behalf) will receive uniform responses from each carrier so that they can make the best decision for awarding their business. All exchanged information is secured by SMC³’s system of servers and stored at the shipper’s/3PL’s discretion for historical re-use.

CarrierConnect

CarrierConnect combines carriers’ operational capabilities, points of service, transit times and detailed contact information into one easy-to-use system and places that information at your fingertips. SMC³ maintains this service data for over 155 carriers, representing the industry leaders on a national, interregional and regional basis. This comprehensive database provides pertinent information on city, state, ZIP and postal codes, key contacts, office locations, terminal listings, mileages, service times between points, and additional details provided by the carriers and other transportation industry data sources. SMC³ ensures that you have the latest information from each participating carrier by giving you easy access to our monthly data updates from the SMC³ Web site.

CzarLite

The CzarLite pricing system is the basis for thousands of LTL contracts that annually account for over $15 billion in managed transportation. CzarLite pricing products are licensed to hundreds of carriers, including all 50 of the largest national, multi-regional and regional LTL carriers. Shippers of all sizes, from many of the largest global organizations to the casual and infrequent shipper, utilize CzarLite information to make informed LTL purchases. These shippers act both directly and indirectly through their technology software and transportation intermediaries. CzarLite has been licensed to over 1900 shippers, including over one-third of the Fortune 500 companies.

Priority1

Imagine taking the data from all your carriers’ pricing agreements, point of service guides and terminal directories, and combining this information with a mileage guide, your company’s base rates and routing guides, and your transportation team’s savvy and experience. Priority1 incorporates all of this critical information into one, transaction-based carrier selection system that quickly analyzes each component and identifies your alternatives so you can make the right decision quickly and confidently.

The Priority1 rating engine works with any base rate and handles all the details of your price negotiations, including minimum charges, FAK agreements, deficit rating and tiered class structures, as well as discounting by carrier, weight group and surcharges.

RateWare

RateWare delivers SMC³’s transportation pricing expertise through a family of APIs for effectively and efficiently distributing pricing data throughout an organization. RateWare products can be used to efficiently manage LTL and parcel shipment costing and pricing, including industry-standard base rates like CzarLite, carrier-specific discounts, deficit rating and FAK charges. RateWare increases planning flexibility and reduces the complexities of LTL rating for shippers, distributors, logistics service providers and transportation exchanges. SMC³ makes the FedEx and UPS package rates available from all points to all points within the contiguous U.S., and provides all service levels (express, ground, cwt., etc.) in an integrated system.

webRater

webRater is a fast and simple rating tool that enables carriers to use their own Web site to provide rate quotes to shipper-customers. webRater is also a powerful tool for corporate traffic departments that need to keep their internal users aware of transportation pricing agreements. The webRater program can be customized with your logo and is designed to be accessed directly from your Web site, thereby eliminating the trouble and expense of software distribution to your customers. SMC³ manages the data, so all you have to do is enter a shipment’s characteristics for quick, up-to-date rates.
