SMC³ Adds Two Members to Board of Directors

ATLANTA – T.J. O’Connor, president and CEO of Reddaway, a member of YRC Worldwide, and Chad Earwood, founder and CEO of eShipping, have been named to the SMC³ Board of Directors.

O’Connor has served as the head of Reddaway for the past 10 years, leading Reddaway through significant periods of growth, including the company’s transformation from USF Reddaway in 2008. The Oregon-based LTL provider now employs 3,000 workers in 50 service centers.

A key component of Earwood’s Engaged Companies suite of offerings, eShipping is a provider of transportation management services and logistics-related technology products for customers throughout the country.

“Chad’s experience in the logistics, financial, technology and educational industries is a huge asset to the board of directors,” according to Steve Gast, chairman of the SMC³ board. “Coupled with T.J.’s vast experience as an executive at an LTL carrier, these two newest board members will help steer SMC³ through a changing transportation landscape filled with shifting customer priorities.”

SMC³ President and CEO Andrew Slusher said, “Adding yet another non-carrier executive into the fold strengthens our commitment to including a broader array of supply chain leaders in our organization. I’m excited T.J. and Chad have joined our board of directors, strengthening SMC³’s ability to reach out to all supply chain participants and support them through the entire shipment lifecycle with innovative products and trusted solutions.”
