Art T. Nourot • Senior Director of Carrier Procurement & Business Development, Unyson Logistics
Art Nourot became the Senior Director of Carrier Procurement and Business Development in February 2008. Nourot directs the design and development of Unyson’s strategic carrier network. He is focused on optimizing carrier service, cost and capacity for the benefit of our clients. He facilitates the growth and development of Unyson’s vendor base via relationships with our carrier’s senior management. Since Joining The Hub Group in 1998, Nourot has held several key leadership roles including Operations Director for Unyson’s Western Region and Director of Highway Services for Hub Group’s Golden Gate operations. Prior to joining Hub Group, he held various management positions in the Transportation and Logistics industry since 1993.

Ken Burroughs • Vice President of Revenue Management & Pricing, UPS Freight
Ken Burroughs is currently vice president, revenue management and pricing with UPS Freight, the nation's fourth largest LTL carrier. He has been with UPS Freight for the past twelve years, but has been in the transportation industry nearly 40 years. His background has involved both LTL and truckload motor carriage, and includes positions in sales, operations, finance, customer service, pricing and more. He is a member and former board member of the National Motor Freight Traffic Association (NMFTA) representing Virginia. Burroughs is also a longstanding member of the SMC³ board of directors, having served on the board for the last eight consecutive terms.
Mick Noce • Vice President of Engineered Solutions, Unyson Logistics
Mick Noce joined Unyson Logistics in 2002 and has led the design and implementation of logistics management solutions for many of our major clients. Prior to joining Unyson, he designed and implemented operational performance improvements at leading corporations with PricewaterhouseCoopers as a supply chain strategy consultant. Prior to that, he held management positions in transportation and production planning for Pet Incorporated, a leading food manufacturer. Noce received a Masters in Management Information Systems from the University of Missouri – St. Louis in 1993 and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Logistics from the University of Missouri – Columbia in 1984.
Alex Ramos • Strategic Sourcing Manager, The Home Depot
Alex Ramos is a global sourcing manager at The Home Depot in Atlanta, Georgia. He has more than ten years in the supply chain/sourcing field, the last three of which have been supporting Home Depot’s transportation sourcing initiatives. Prior to The Home Depot, Ramos worked at General Dynamics Armament and Technical Products Division in Charlotte, North Carolina in their materials management group. He is certified by the Institute of Supply Management as a Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) and as a Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM).
Christopher Rocke • Corporate Sourcing Manager, MeadWestvaco
Chris Rocke is a corporate sourcing manager for MeadWestvaco Corporation (MWV). He is responsible for strategy and contract negotiations for LTL, truckload and parcel spend across all MWV locations. He works with MWV’s business units to develop and maintain strategic carrier relationships across all three modes. During Rocke’s 15 years in the transportation industry, he has represented both carrier and shipper interests. His experience includes contract negotiation, management of a dedicated fleet, operations analysis for process improvement, operations and call center management.
