Registration

When SMC³ needs information that personally identifies you or allows us to contact you, in most cases we will request this through an online registration process. In order to use or access certain services provided on or through the Site (such as downloading white papers, registering for educational seminars and conferences, requesting online product demonstrations, making online product purchases, etc.), you may need to register with us, which will entail your disclosure and transmission of certain information about you. Subsequent to your product registration you may occasionally receive product-related emails from SMC³. These emails contain important, customer-specific updates. You may "opt-out" or unsubscribe from receiving non product-related emails by clicking here or following the instructions contained within any marketing email from us.

The SMC³ software transfers this information to SMC³'s servers, and such information is used for internal resource management purposes.

We also may collect non-identifiable information that becomes available to us as a result of your visit to the Site or login to an application. Because we are very interested in the successful dissemination of information, we will review trends recorded on certain log files. In connection with such log files, analysis software will be used to generate reports which will allow us to determine how we can enhance your experience with our Site and applications. This information will not be used to ascertain your identity, and the log files may be purged periodically, at our discretion, to maximize space on the server.
