SMC³ Issues Call to Entry for 2016 Alliance Awards

PEACHTREE CITY, GA. – Logistics Management and SMC³ are requesting entries for the fifth annual Alliance Awards, an annual celebration of supply chain collaboration and innovation at the highest level.

Submissions are being accepted through October 17. Case study criteria, as well as submission guidelines, are available at http://www.logisticsmgmt.com/allianceaward.html.

These awards, presented in partnership with Logistics Management each January at SMC³’s Jump Start conference, identify shippers and service providers that collaborate to overcome critical supply chain challenges. Winners craft innovative solutions to extraordinary issues.

Qualified entries must comprise a collaborative effort of three or more partners, with at least one of those members being a shipper. A panel of supply chain experts will judge entrants on how their collaboration has worked to produce meaningful outcomes, achieve results and enhance the supply chain, among other metrics.

In addition to award recognition and a panelist role at SMC³’s Jump Start conference, Alliance Award winners receive a dedicated feature in Logistics Management magazine. A feature on 2015 winner Birdsong Peanuts is located here. With a distribution of 75,000, Logistics Management provides invaluable access to the industry, allowing Alliance Award winners to share their message far and wide.

Winners will also receive a free reprint of the article, in PDF form, for distribution to their customer base, courtesy of SMC³. SMC³ and Logistics Management will also distribute press releases notifying the industry of the Alliance Award winners. Finally, winners will be recognized on the heavily trafficked SMC³ website and listed in the January 2016 issue of Logistics Management.

Past award winners include the collaborators GNC, DHL Global Mail and Spend Management Experts; Dick’s Sporting Goods and Estes Express Lines; and Macy’s, Hub Group and Comtrak.
