Position Summary

We are looking for a passionate and rigorous System Integration Analyst to join a product team that builds, enhances, and maintains a standardized suite of APIs that connects to 3rd party systems. The System Integration Analyst will work with a Product Owner, stakeholders, and the product team to prioritize research and analysis that drive effective business value delivery.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the transportation industry, specialized in transportation management systems and LTL intricacy. Someone who has strong analytical skills and is comfortable working with software documentation as well as someone to be able to communicate effectively to both a technical and non-technical audience. A successful analyst is adept at demonstrating a contextual understanding of a business problem against the backdrop of 3rd party system capabilities and shortcomings to help the team deliver an effective, scalable solution.
Essential Functions
Work independently to perform discovery and analysis of 3rd party APIs and related technologies
Create artifacts that define requirements and constraints that will be used by development teams to successfully build integrations to them
Manage priority of planned work as well as ad-hoc customer and stakeholder inquiries
Participate in business requirements discussions with all stakeholders (customers, business stakeholders, technical team, and product owner) to develop and refine solutions
Assist Product Owner with assessing feasibility and business value of proposed features or feature enhancements
Assist Product Owner with writing User Stories that include relevant requirements to ensure they are ready for refinement by development teams
Provide subject matter expertise to the product team to assist with in-progress feature development and product support activities
Support business development activities with knowledge documentation, participation in pre- and post-sale customer meetings, and training of internal, customer-facing teams
Contribute to building a culture where continuous improvement of agile processes is in focus
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience, education, and training related to Integration and Data Analysis
2-5 years’ experience as an Integration and Data Analyst or similar role; specifically, analysis/design of web-based software solutions
Knowledge and experience of supply chain management
Ability to read and understand XML/JSON messages
Experience gathering, documenting, and communicating user requirements
Experience performing gap analysis and documenting the outcome of cost/benefit analysis
Experience with database tools and applications
Previous experience with R or Python for data analysis and data extraction, and SQL highly desirable
Experience with data visualization and graphics tools such as Tableau for the creation of reports and dashboards is a plus
Working knowledge or experience with IBM Rational Team Concert (RTC) preferred
Experience with Excel and Microsoft suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint)
Experience with Lucid Chart a plus
Experience writing User Stories and Epics for custom Software development in an Agile environment is a plus
